Trees and Plaques

Memorial trees available for planting at Tithe Green are as follows:

Field Maple (Acer Campestre)*
Lime (Tilia Cordata)*
Oak (Quercus Robur)*
Rowan (Sorbus Aucuparia)*
Silver Birch (Betula Pendula)* or
Wild Cherry (Prunus Avium)*
*Please click on the links for further descriptions.

Memorial trees can only be planted during the tree planting season from November to February and a list is therefore created during the remainder of the year. Throughout the tree planting season we will then contact each applicant in order and arrange an appropriate date to plant the trees. Orders received after 1st January will ordinarily be deferred to the list for the following planting season starting November the same year.

Memorial grave and tree plaques at Tithe Green:

Should you wish to place a memorial plaque, please note that Tithe Green has a specification for plaques and it is requested that we be contacted either by yourselves or your stonemason with regard to this. All plaques should be made from dark grey Welsh slate or untreated wood and to the size specifications below.
Alternatively, plaques are available direct through Tithe Green. They are of high quality and produced by a local stonemason in Leicestershire.

Grave plaques measure 200mm x 200mm (8 inch x 8 inch) and lay flat to the ground.

Tree plaques measure 150mm x 100mm (6 inch x 4 inch) and are fixed to a wooden stake in front of the tree.

It is normal for Tithe Green plaques to take approximately 12 weeks to produce, so this needs to be considered when ordering for a specific date or event. Once we receive the plaque from the stonemason, we will then contact you to arrange placement.

Should you wish to purchase a memorial tree or plaque at Tithe Green this can either be done online or by printing off an application form for postage:
